Comments?
As the deadline is vastly approaching, with only a week left before the deadline, we've begun asking what people think of our piece.
We've generally had really great feedback, but as always there was room for improvement.
We will obviously be using the constructive feedback in our thriller piece as its important to take in what has been said so we can make our film the best it could possibly be!
Looking forward to seeing the piece come together after a long process.

Issues..
A few issues that we have encountered..
- When filming with a DSLR, our footage kept going out of focus and in a lot of our footage it made a really loud clicking noise. It was impossible to get it to stop tuning out of focus and to remove the clicking noise on the camera, therefore we had to basically reshoot all our footage! This time we did it on the Iphone 5c camera as it is of high quality and we knew how to work it just as easy.
- A few of our shots turned out shaky, this was due to the lack of practice we had with using a tripod. Again, these shots in the park turned out not as we expected unfortunately. Therefore, we had to do a lot of editing and chopping away just to make it work.

Notes
Deadline for our media piece is the 6th march. I think we are right on schedule as we have already begun filming. For every shot we have filmed, we have filmed so multiple times, sometimes just changing techniques ever so slightly, just so we can get the best possible footage that we can. This also means when it comes to editing we will have loads of footage to choose from.
Filming as early as we are also means we can always do some re shooting if needed if any of the shots lack focus or contain continuity errors. I'm glad I'm in a team that is as organised as myself. We can make this piece amazing if we put our minds to it.

What is a thriller?
As our final piece will be based on a thriller genre, I wondered, what makes a thriller and how could I use this evidence for my final coursework piece?
To me, a thriller is composed of low lighting, deep and low bass music, a creepy lurking antagonist looking to plot against the protagonist whilst they are trying to resolving the issue at hand. The antagonist is usually always represented as a dark, sinister character with a dark edgy look; whereas usually the protagonist is perceived as innocent, generally the complete opposite. There is multiple types of sub genres involved with the main genre 'thriller' -
I take a deep interest in films in the thriller genres,t his is because as an audience, I believe that after watching a good thriller film that the same situation could happen to myself. Therefore, I know that my final piece will have to be realistic, to the point of knowing that the scenario could happen to the film's audience.

Storyboard for the main!
Even though it doesn't look like much of a plot, to me and the group this is key to our ideas. we have planned the whole of the beginning of the film, with camera details and even what the characters are wearing. After our preliminary, we know ideas change, and we are fine with that; so this is just a loose guideline. This movie is going to be the best of our ability. We all cant wait to start.
